This mainly covers strike craft, but would it be possible to add lua functions tied to bombers and alike to attack specified subsystems via buttons(special attack)? I would love to see this.
Also please make flak turrets on cap ships and MS more effective, but not overkill. |

Engines, turrets, modules(HS). I honestly don't know how it would look but would require selecting in the uI a special attack button, that opens a prompt for a sub type to select and the bombers search for the nearest I suppose... avoiding un attackable and non-buildable subsystems. _________________

is it possible lto create a commande or select for multi salvage corvette to capture multi target ?
same as homeworld 1
Actually we have to select salvage corvette to capture one by one targets |

Hi everyone, my first post here at the forums, loving the mod so far!
Following this topic, I'd like to propose something, not sure if doable though;
The customisation for the skirmish game is pretty good as it is now, so many tweaking possible, it really helps with the matchs variety. Would it be possible to add a further customisation option in order to set capital ships to be much more expensive and with very limited lower unit cap? The idea is to be able (if wanted) to setup a match focused on small ships, fighters, corvettes and frigates... so a higher cap for small ships with 1 destroyer or 2 maximum. Destroyers should be very, very expensive and the production time should be very long. So fielding a capital ship should be a big deal, and losing one a true disaster.
What you guys think? Would it be worth to have an option like that? Me particularly I like the early game skirmishes. Would be interesting to have to create tactics to beat enemy fleets with frigates and fighters only. |

Yes there is a lot of interest in keeping capitals to a minimum at times...the easiest means of accomplishing this would be to have a research switch that would trigger if the player chose the option of reducing capitals.
In my own version Capitals are very expensive, but I only mod HW2 Classic |

I have often advocated a gameplay mode where the only capital ships available would be carriers, so as to give strike craft a far more important role.
An issue with that though would be the weakness of the classic Vaygr carrier. _________________ I'll have a Neutron Blaster please...

i would suggest the capital wrecks that was destroyed during the battles can be recycle or salvageable for portion RUs and also reduce the lag when the non-recycle wrecks is too many.
try to solve the RU crisis when the gameplay is very long until a point where RUs are finish and only rely on very slow scavenger RU fusion.
what you guys think?

This is not that hard to do and original idea was exact like this collecting captial wreck.
However we realized that capital wreck did not fit into any docking bay. And it will be limited only for Shypiard.
It should be required new type of ships like Recycle stations where you can dock cap. wrecks. |

Maybe Instead of moving entire wreck, what about allow resource collector/ any method/ unit to dissemble or disintegrate it into smaller pieces.
My idea are:(each idea are not related to each other)
1) resource collector/ specialized unit (maybe has the ability to reduce the wreck into smaller pieces
2) treat those wreck as RU asteroid. exactly like resource collecting operation, where each wreck is given reason amount of RUs to be collected by resource collectors
3) as you mentioned, allows a number resources collector or any specialized unit( depending on sizes) to move the wreck back to capital ship that able to contain it or salvageable using Idea 1). This idea was inspired by the homeworld 2 story, where Movers are able to move the ships or wreck around. |
