Another thing iam finding annoying is, that battleships do not attack ships "completely" when debris (taken by an enemy) are near by. for example: 2vs2 destroyers. 50% of my attack is against this debris which is near by, so i lose this confrontation. i gave order to attack enemy ships, it doesnt matter... it seems debris are more disturbing for my battleships than enemy battleships.

my ships always attack enemy debris...

maybe it is possible, that debris have to be choosen to attack? no auto attack on this?

When ship's debris appearing on a line of fire, it takes several hit to make it disappear. At least for me.

So debris from exploding ships? Do your destroyers attack debris? Is shouldn't be so, they are unattackable by scripts

no - debris which are taken by enemys marine / infiltrator frigate -> around such things

or other big wracks which are around the map and bring boni for whom captured these "debris" - hope its clear what i mean now.

yes destroyers and BC are attacking this things...

You mean, megaliths have higher attack priority than other ships.

yep, megaliths (thats the word i was looking for) and the stuff arround...
may they have the same priority, dont know. but when there is a fight near such a megalith - the megalith will also be attacked when the enemy as overtaken this megalith or debris arround...

Check gameplay settings:
There should be something called Military Target Priority. If this option enabled, your combat units might behave like you described.
