Post subject: modding complex 12 parameters
Hi everyone, I'm trying to see if I can change some of the balancing in complex 12.
I used to do this all the time in complex 9 and below by opening the .big file with the HWarchiveTool, extracting a particular .lua file, changing a few numbers, and then save it back into the program data file. This worked great for doing things like changing population limits or speeding up/slowing down ships, but i cant get this trick to work with 12. I have all my altered .lua files in the game data folder, and have -overrideBigFile at the end of the launch target, but nothing seems to stick.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HomeworldRM.exe" -mod Complex12.big -overrideBigFile
Does anyone have any pointers?

Maibe your altered files does not exist in the mod. Can we get the file names ?

one of the files that i extracted, tried to mod and reinsert was hgn_mothership LUA, and its new position is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Data
