Personally, I have slow Laptop but it runs just well enough for complex 9.1 with max 6 players

But when it comes to homeworld remastered 1or 2. My PC lags at total 4 players like 20FPS

Then I start wondering what happen if I play 8 players map.
I end up with 3fps.... Lol

So may ask does any more advamce graphic settings that allows even more performance for slow

The reason I am asking is that people like me who have slow pc and only cares about FPS over graphic quality be able to play better at max 8 player maps.

The thing is that, if it slows you GPU or CPU.
In Remastered lowering graphic details did not improve performance that much. Because most of the work is on CPU side calculacting object instances and scripts.

I see, so the performance tweaking is pretty much of it.

Is there anyway to Turn Off the lighting setting even further? in homeworld remastered 1&2 versions, I still can see the surface reflection effect as well as light intensity on the surface from the light source even the light setting is at its lowest.

It is hardcoded, you can edit ship shaders individualy but the lighting engine will be consuming same amount of power no matter the light is rendered or not.

ok... this is boring, joking lol...seems this game is very less flexible for the performance tweak but i believe the game engine has done its best optimization for performance, is it?

You need a fast cpu, no matter about graphic card or ram, anyway the game run well now, C12 had some heavy scrip problem, C13 should be clean, more fast
