Greetings again!

First things first- thanks for keeping this game and mod alive! You are the best! Been waiting for Kushan race for a long time.

But I've got some strange bug or an error with units cap.
I've have increased units cap to have a larger fleet to fight, however, closer to end phase of the game, when I've had a decent fleet, for some reason all ships' icons becomes red in a build menu and I can't construct even a probe anymore.

Is there any parameter in scripts for like a general or total population or how many ships can be on a map?

There is a hard-coded limited in the game engine that I believe limits your fleet to 250 combined units...however you are able to spawn as many as you wish through scripting.

As far as I recall, there is a limit on the number of total objects of all types that can exist on a map.

It is in the executable and so cannot be modified without a work-around.

So, it's not that easy to change those parameters.

Might be there is a point to check some mods, where unit cap is disabled?

Disabling the unit cap wil not override the maximum number of objects in a level limit, afaik.

Well, that's very sad. I enjoyed large fleet battles in HW 2 Complex, and this object limit in HWR is quite harmful to a gaming experience, especially when your rig can handle it.

FWIW, I also tried the link at the top of the page that reads "Downloads."

"This download section has no categories"

Kinda seems like stuff is all over the place.

Hi there!

I just returned to the Homeworld Games after 20 years (gog had a sale running Wink ) and now I'd like to try out complex in the newest version. Unfortunately the "non-Steam user" download link in the OP does not work any more (see below).

Funny how the forum cuts the link after the first "!". I patched it to this:

still does not work (and the url-tag obviously has its problems as well Wink ).

One Drive says something about the file having been moved or so.
