the ship looks awsome! And they fit perfectly into the design of the races. 3,4,5 and 6 are certainly hiigaran design. one of these could certainly be the BS.
I'd rather vote for 6 (after it's completed) for this role but 3 would be ok too.
5 could replace the current hiigaran cruiser that is just not hiigaran sylte.
2 is taiidan dessign and looks simular to current vagyr BS. Could become a supercapital comparable to the ark if strached properly.
1 is certainly not ready atm due to lack of structure. seems to be more progenitor for me and rather a station than a ship.
4 seems to be the original BC or is it modified?
about size i wouldn't care too much since it can be easily stretched.

Tell the designer he's made the best looking ships apart of the original ones I've seen so far. Und vielen Dank auch an dich Anne!

@Cypher:
is this a minmartar ship? didn't play eve for a long time. it looks very nice to me but is not really vagyr looking. perhaps caldari design would fit better in. And well, there is an eve mod for HW2 in work all i know. suppouse to see that giant there if it will ever be released.

for critimish of those ships. Some of them are year old so.. they might not look so good and all of those are in progress still Razz

Ships number 2 and 3 has been done pretty fast but not ready yet.
I am working on ship number 2 atm..

I have tryed to make them look like vaygr/hiigaran but after all it is the texture which makes them look right maybe?

I have not tryed to make them for complex mod (even i am fan of complex mod. You guys rock!!!)

They are for my own mod, but if you see ship what may fit in complex just pm me and i may give the model with goblins etc..

yes mate it is a mimatar ship
in fact both of them are Wink
1st one is the 1st carrier, consider a light/medium carrier class
the 2nd one is the 2nd carrier class, more specific is a mothership class carrier

and i know theres a eve mod for homeworld 2 but far as i know i didnt heard any news from the mod for a long time
i think its suspended/dead

@ UNI
hmm the 2nd ship imgs fit more as vayger one but it would look cool on higgy too Wink

in all cases, shuld more ships be fitted to the complex mod, adding such ships as these would require lots of ingame balences

far from my skirmish tests, its alrdy hard to find a way to balance with all the ships the mod already have
(beating the Ark and the Stations is already hard enough Twisted Evil )
think what we need is a class of ship that can wipe out every single one but such ship appears i suggest a limit for it, like 1 only (more like a Titan class ship, more powerfull then Sajuk itself and much bigger, say.....Aggemon class super carrier)

grate ships all of them both baroness and uni , realy like baronesses nr2
uni the dreadnaught i think i seen in original homeworld 2 concept art as a hiigaran vessle , finaly someone made it
well it has resemblence to the hiigaren destroyer wich i personaly like as a model i think its realy cool
hiig battlecruisers allways looked to thin to me even thow i know its a huge vesle and such but still it allways gave me that impression and about complex in general i am so used to the 2 huge missle bateries on its side now that when i recently replayed homeworld 2 single player i allways wanted to build them on the battleruisers:D
returning to these ships baronesses nr2 looks realy like and advanced badass taiidani ship so naturaly it goes to vaygr in my eyes and yes it should take the role of meanes ship in there fleet after all taiidani rulez:D

I have a suggestion for ships 2 and 3.

[why doesn't phpBB support strikethrough tags]Perhaps they could be some kind of Super-Battleship, with extremely powerful anti-capital weaponry. The catch - they could have either minimal or no anti-fighter/corvette weaponry, have to be hyperspaced in (but still have to be built from the shipyard), and be extremely expensive (between 9000 and 14000 RUs?) with a long build time. #2 should definately be Vaygr, #3 should be Hiigaran.[/strikethrough]

well i dont think we need another even heavier capital class , the game is shifting to biger and bigger ships and evrything else is getting more irelevant with evry passing minute , i would like to see an overall reduction in dmg
and if possible an option put in the eliminate wmd's alltogather
ofc the juggernaut can stay , its easy to defend against but the rest of the nukes are killing gameplay imo
ofc even i like to use em sometimes for fun but most of the times i stride not to
so i dont say take em out alltogather but put in an option to eliminate them

Good point. Perhaps #2 could become an alternative variant of the current Vaygr BS, and #3 can become the new primary Hiigaran BC. Both should be deadly against capitals but vulnerable to fighters, corvettes and possibly frigates.

Shapes do appeal but should not there be reason behind their designs and architectures!??!
One can produce an explanation behind why it is designed so and such and why not the other way! What lies behind the armour of the beautiful shapes, ideas as such!!

I am likeing numbers 5 and 4. I always liked the back of the regular Hiigaran BC. But the top and front look like a much better design then number 4. I always liked the idea of a ship like that to have an awesome designe for its scale and size. It has a much more advanced profile to number 4.


Ohnestly I would go with number 6

i think 3 should be the new hiigaran battleship...
now that hte old mesh is the cruser etc.
the hiigarans do need a counter to the vaygr battleship
