Im stuck at the part where i need to get the mothership through an exploding black hole or something.
I got to the point where the keeper cannot follow me, but the assistant told me to 'concentrate power on the shield' or something because the heat is too much for the mothership's hull, and then heat just eat up the hp and blew the mothership up.
I tried looking on research and module construction.. but there is no active shield module for the mothership.
Strategy? |
You can upgrade the heat shield in research but only when the shield is active.
Finally beat it, damn it was tough. No spoilers, but that last cut-scene was ominous
Good job guys |

Honestly i tried the first mission on the DEV Build 40 and was at first even struggling with the first turanic raider bomber attack, then finally managed to get through - but with bombers and interceptors, also kinetic turrets as your only way of fighting the ion frigates..
Jesus it's just impossible. Why is it REQUIRED to grind for a higher rank just to unlock ships?
I mean, that could be okay, but atleast get a hint or message in to do so. No point in restarting the mission a thousand times before realizing these things.
Also - not being able to skip the cutscenes makes it a real drag. _________________ My Name... Draco

Yeah I'll chip in as well: Campaign mission 1 is unplayable. I'm up against my unit limit, with carrier fully equipped with turrets, interceptors maxed out (all 6 of them), and knowing the fighters are coming, and they still wreck me every time. One time I got past that part... to then have to fight ion frigates with kinetic turrets... Mothership was blown up before I could kill the second ion frigate.
This is not a good intro to learning the mechanics of the mod, which is presumably the purpose of having a single player mission in the mod. |

I must agree unfortunately with Snoman314, although unplayable is too harsh. I think the campaign is the ideal place to show off Complex and to introduce new and old players to this wonderful Mod. Apparently others have had success but I did not think to grind out a level. I understand this may be an area under development and that with more Patrons comes quicker progress .
Beghins, I also wishes to extend our thanks for all your work and my hope that Italy and you especially come through the coronavirus better than ever. Italy has fared through even worse calamities and better times are on their way!

It's supposed to be COMPLEX and it's not impossible. Just gotta think like the captain of the carrier. Or to put it another way, ask yourself "what would Commander Adamma do?" Would he really build a bunch of mining frigates just to retire them and level up? Would he really allow his squadrons to die in battle? Would he just let the carrier sit there without orders and shoot at something if the Weapons Officer felt like it? Weapons Officer goes and gets coffee if you don't give him orders to sit down and focus on those turrets. |
