I think that the AI scripting for ships that are more than 20km away from the player starting location needs to be changed so that all ships will return to the player starting location before any other scripting takes place.

The formation will include all combat ships that would return to the player starting location where the formation or event scripting would then take over where they would perform actions such as resource gathering or searching for the opponent.

Production ships that are capable of deploying resource collectors would automatically move towards the player starting location unless it encountered a resource area within 5km of its position along the vector of travel towards the player start location where it would then move towards the resource area to begin resource collection.

The reason for the AI scripting change request is to establish a convoy system for map developers to create maps where a convoy moves from one side of the map to the other without engaging the opponent.

The AI scripting change is also being requested because the opponent AI automatically moves towards the opponents starting location without having to first scout out where the opponent may be located. Allowing the opponent to know where the other opponents starting location is at is kinda giving the AI the upper hand in the game which means that all matches are not balanced and favor the AI.
